Advanced Night Repair: A Love Letter

In my previous Estee Lauder post, I mentioned that I was most excited to try the Advanced Night Repair – the award-winning (too many to name), cult classic (it was originally launched in 1982) and bestseller (nine bottles are sold very minute). Given all that, there must be a reason that women all over still rave about, and swear by, this product.

I’ve been using both the Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II and Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Synchronized Recovery for about a month now, and have just started on my second sample of each and, based on how my skin looks and feels so far, will definitely be splurging out on full size versions when they’re done.

The Advanced Night Repair face serum contains hyaluronic acid and anti-oxidants, which hydrates and renews for radiant, youthful-looking skin. To use, you apply on clean skin before your moisturiser by placing a drop on each fingertip, and massaging in. I use a rose quartz roller to really massage the serum into my skin.

The Advanced Night Repair eye cream, on the other hand, helps repair the visible impact of lack of sleep, UV, pollution, and even blue light. It hydrates, reduces the look of aging and brightens dark circles – which is exactly what drew me to the product.

I absolutely adore both of these products, and don’t know how long I survived without them. My skin looks more even and hydrated, and I completely understand the hype. The serum is a light gel, and absorbs well into the skin without making it feel too oily. The eye cream is lightweight and makes my eye area feel a lot more hydrated. While I can’t profess to see a huge difference in dark circles (although to be perfectly fair, it’s near impossible to any one skincare product to eradicate them), I do look less tired and brighter, which has been amazing to see.

Like I mentioned earlier, I am still working through my samples, so these products, while pricey (the serum ranges from R 890.00 – R 1225.00, while the eye cream is R 915.00) , will definitely last long enough to be worth it. My skin deserves this so much, and I’m so happy with the results so far. I cannot recommend these products enough – these are definitely new staples in my skincare arsenal.
